I'm DJ Bill, based in Richmond, Virginia, and I've been spinning across central and eastern Virginia for over 20 years. While I’m deeply rooted in the ballroom dance community, my music library spans Ballroom, Pop, Country, Latin, Jazz, Blues (one of my favorites) and more. As a dancer myself, I know the power of music that makes you want to move—and that’s the vibe I bring to every event.

DJ Bill's Playlist Scroller

This is a screenshot from Playlist Scroller, an app that I have developed over the past few years. It is intended to be displayed on a large monitor, TV, or projection screen where it can easily be seen by people attending a dance. As music plays, Playlist Scroller keeps the dance for the currently playing song at the top left, followed by the next four dances coming up. The NOW PLAYING song title is displayed, upper right, along with a progress bar and up/down counters. Displayed below that is an image, which can be your own DJ logo, and/or that of the business or sponsor of your dance.

At this time I have a stable version that a few DJ's here in the Richmond area are helping me to test. They test it while building their playlists, and also use it at live dances (as do I). I am looking for a few additional DJ's who might be interested in trying it out. If you're interested, contact me via my email address below.
